The site for this installation was the back stair well of Parsons' 25 E. 13th Street Building.  The painting was falling off in places and the sun from the skylight lit the entire space and faded downward. 

 

Together with Kirsten Harris, Luna Wang and Rachel Miller-Crews we decided to celebrate the decay of the space and fill the cracks with equally delicate fabrics and aluminum in order to celebrate the unique qualities the environment offers.
